Non-members can submit their abstract at the non-members’ site using this link: http://www.isdpcentraloffice.org/ISDPnonmemabstract.asp
Detailed instructions for completing the abstract form are provided on the submission page, but here are a few things to keep in mind:
Abstracts must be no longer than 250 words; Abstracts that exceed the word limit will be cropped by the Central Office.
Abstracts must be in English.
You can NOT cut and paste from Word or WordPerfect when using special characters. Please follow instructions on the form for special characters.
You may submit more than one abstract; however, you may be the first and presenting author on only one submission.
All research must abide by the ISDP “Principles for Use of Animals in Research” or the “Declaration of Helsinki on Human Subjects.”
You will need to pay an Abstract fee of $40 per abstract which can be paid online at http://www.isdpcentraloffice.org/ISDPpaymentpage.asp
If submitting a paper, you will need to specify a preference for Mac or PC.
Abstracts will be assigned to either an oral presentation (10-minute talk, plus 5 minutes for questions) or a poster session. You can indicate your preference for a talk or poster on the abstract submission form. We will do our best to accommodate your preference. The first author of the abstract must be the presenter. Students and non-members must have a sponsor. If you have any questions about abstract submission, please contact the Program Director, Rachel Barr (rachelfbarr@gmail.com).

Payment for the meeting can be made at ISDP Payment Page.
A variety of Awards are available. Please consult the Awards page for descriptions and criteria: http://isdp.org/html/awards.html

We now invite you to submit proposals for symposia for our 2009 meeting, to be held October 14-17 at the Westin O'Hare, Chicago.
Proposal applications should include the following information:
1) Symposium title
2) A short (250 words), integrative abstract outlining the theme of the symposium (see criteria below)
3) Speakers´ names and affiliations
4) A brief summary of each speaker's presentation (100 words each)
A successful proposal will address the following criteria:
1) Interest to ISDP members
2) Innovation and novelty, including cross-disciplinary topics
3) Reputation of speakers
4) Likelihood that the symposium will generate discussion and/or stimulate fruitful interactions
We are particularly interested in proposals that are likely to stimulate formal and informal discussion. Although the inclusion of a discussant is not a requirement, there should be integration of topics across the individual speakers. At least one speaker must be an ISDP member and speakers must represent different laboratories.
Symposium speakers may be asked to help judge poster sessions.
Symposium proposals should be sent to Rachel Barr via email
(rachelfbarr@gmail.com) by May 5
